Job Overview
We are seeking a WordPress Support Engineer to join our growing team. As a WordPress Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers. You will be the first point of contact for any technical issues or questions that our customers may have, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites
- Monitor and maintain customer websites to ensure optimal performance and security
- Write and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and to continuously improve our processes and procedures
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in WordPress and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Experience with hosting environments and web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx, cPanel)
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
